The year 2020 sets a decisive milestone in our professional life, as we concluded the rebranding and the creation of the stucco brand as an independent engineering practice, which merges with this new entity of our shared collaborations over the last few years.
Now, 20 years after we began our careers as structural engineers, we still feel the same excitement when engaging in a new project, as we did in those first years. We thrive on exploring and tapping into new design and building concepts fueled by our everlasting pursuit of efficiency, sustainability, and elegance.
The exercise of creating this book allowed us to pause and consider where we came from, where we are now, and where we might be in the next 20 years as an engineering practice.
Our work covers projects that range from private housing to public spaces, from small bespoke scultoric assignments to significant public buildings and industrial structures, representing a broad spectrum of interests and experiences.
The projects disclosed in this book show several of these experiences and offer the reader a slice of our body of work, which is, above all else, a representation of what we are, what we do and why we do it.
